Phillip J. Pfeiffer, 53, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away suddenly September 2, 2000. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Elmer Pfeiffer. He is survived by his wife, Kathy of the family home; one daughter, Marisa Ayon and husband, Douglas. Also surviving are his mother, Ruby Turnbeaugh; two brothers, Rudy"Lucky" Pfeiffer and Travis Turnbeaugh; and two sisters, Cheri Sipes and Linda K. Pfeiffer. Phillip enjoyed camping, fishing and firearms. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam. Phillip also worked for PNM for over 30 years as a Senior Measurement Tech. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alameda Mortuary, with cremation to follow. The family will be accepting flowers.
