In Loving Memory of Our Father & Grandfather, DAVE A. MAESTAS 9-5-99 to 9-5-2000 A year ago today you broke our hearts when you went away. We pray to God for wisdom so we could know what to do because we knew you knew you didn't want machines for breath for you. As our tears began to flow we knew we had to let you go. We loved you so much, we didn't want your life to end. Oh God, how would our broken hearts mend. We hear your voice, your laughter, and listen for your walk. Oh God, how we wish you were here so we could talk or together take a simple walk. You walked life's long, winding road with all its pain, suffering and strife, yet you never complained and never looked back. You just took one day at a time and kept going on until you could go no more. On that day Jesus came and opened heaven's door above; today Dad that is where we send you all our love. We love you and miss you very much. We will never forget you, Dad. Love your children and grandchildren
