Charles Erwin Lister, 79, a resident of Albuquerque for 44 years, died Saturday, September 2, 2000. He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Lister and wife, Teressa of Texas City, TX, Dennis Lister and wife, Ginny, and David Lister and wife, Debbie, and Marvin Lister, all of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Bence Lister of Greenfield, IN; sisters, Audrey Burgner of New Castle, IN and Mary Sumpter and husband, Logan of T or C, NM. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles (Pete) Lister; brothers, Arthur Lister and Edward Lister; and sister, Opal Grubb. Mr. Lister was a World War II Veteran. He retired from General Electric after 35 years of service. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Memorial graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2000, 2:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Arrangements by French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
