Fred J. Pawlak, 64, a resident of Albuquerque for 30 years, died Friday, April 7, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Pawlak of the family home; daughters, Daun Dow of Albuquerque, Mary Page and husband, Bobby of Rio Rancho; son, Scott Pawlak of Albuquerque; grandsons, David Carriere and Kenny Woodham, both of Albuquerque, and Zachary Page of Rio Rancho; brother-in-law, John Lord and wife, Pat of Gordon, WI. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Pawlak was a member of the Albuquerque Field Archers, NM Bow Hunters Association, Yucca Muzzle Loaders, NM Mountain Men, and the Zia Gun Club. He had worked for 19 years as a glazier for different glass companies in Albuquerque, retiring in 1998. He had also worked for several years at Movies 8. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 10, 2000, at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
