Obituary for Herrera

Mr. Abelino C. Herrera, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on April 5, 2000. Mr. Herrera is survived by his three sons, Clarence Herrera, John Herrera and wife, Gloria and Robert David Herrera and wife, Susanne; one sister, Carol Herrera; three brothers, Eloy Herrera and wife, Lena, Mariano Herrera and wife, Reina and Ramon Herrera and wife, Grace; seven grandchildren, Donald, Matilda, Roseline, Michelle, Clyde, Jonathan and Patricia; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tillie Herrera, 1980. Mr. Herrera was a member of the Catholic Church, Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII, worked for Sandia Base and A.P.S. until his retirement in 1979, and was Board member of Westland Development Corporation. A Mass will be celebrated Monday morning, 9:00 a.m., at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with Father Tom, Celebrant. The family will be receiving family and friends at the church after 8:30 a.m. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
