Louis U. Rivera, 80 and a resident of Silverdale, WA, died on September 24, 2000 in Bremerton, WA. He was born in Tularosa, NM to Ramon and Mary Rivera and was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 1993 and a son Robert Rivera. He is survived by a son, Louis Rivera, Jr. of Los Alamos, NM; daughters, Joan Clark of Buchanan, MI and Yvonne Rivera of Silverdale, WA; a brother, Raymond Rivera of Los Lunas, NM; a sister, Nellie Young of Las Vegas, NV; and six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be today from 5:00 to 7:00 PM followed by Rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Chapel of Sandia, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, 1:00 PM at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe. Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE.
