Obituary for Gurule

"Andy" Endalecio Gurule, 37, beloved and devoted husband, father, son, and brother, went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2000. Mr. Gurule was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. He served in the Army National Guard for many years. He is survived by his loving wife, Yolanda Gurule; his children, Michael, Valerie, Monique, and Jessica Gurule; his father, Endalecio Gurule; two sisters, Connie Armijo and husband, Johnny and Diana Narvaez and husband, Leroy; one brother, Louie Gurule and wife, Veronica. He is also survived by his in-laws, Mary and Eduardo Enriquez, Ramona and David Padilla, and Steve and Robert Sanchez. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitation will be today, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located on the corner of 8th and Iron. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:30 p.m. also in the chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning, 9:00 a.m., at St. Anne Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Greg Clark, Luis Gurule, Andrew Narvaez, Moises Padilla, Johnny Armijo, and Steve Sanchez. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
