Fernando C. Torres, 23, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 20, 2000. Fernando was the beloved son to Robert and Jackie Torrez. He is also survived by his fiancee, Francene Mora; three daughters, Marissa, Alyssia and Destine; two sisters, Roberta Mora and husband, Rick and Angela Torres and fiance, Anthony Gutierrez; special cousin, Robert Romero Jr.; maternal grandmother, Viola Lopez; Godfather, Jerry Torres; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Fernando was a member of the Catholic Church, he loved his daughters, was an avid Cowboy's fan; he was loving, kind and will be missed by all. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Gabriella Nieto reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, 10:00 a.m., at the St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, with viewing at the church after 9:30 a.m. Father Nieto Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Chilili Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rick Mora, Robert Romero Jr., Gabe Gallegos, Randy Torres Jr., Vince Torres and Anthony Gutierrez. Honorary: Chris Altamirano, Joe Ray Ortiz and Greg Sweet. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
