Obituary for Webb

Helga Elsbeth Webb, born in Berlin, Germany on November 20, 1926, died quietly Sunday, February 13, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Mrs. Webb is survived by her loving family; son, Harvey Lee Webb and wife, Rositta; one grandchild, Ashley Nichole Webb; her mother-in-law, Viola Morgan. Helga was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald N. Webb and parents, Franz and Elsbeth Drefke. She made Albuquerque her home for the last 32 years and retired from Albuquerque National Bank. Helga met her husband, Jerry, while he was stationed in Heidelberg, Germany and as a soldier's wife, they were stationed at various bases throughout the United States and Germany. Upon Jerry's retirement from the military, they returned to their favorite city, Albuquerque. She loved beautiful sunsets, all animals and visits to their cabin at Blue Water Lake. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family wishes to thank Manor Care for their kind and loving care for the past several months. Cremation has taken place and in accordance with Mrs. Webb's request, no services will be held.
