| Leon R. Thygesen, 78, a former resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, February 6, while out of the country. Leon was a pilot in the Army Air Corps during WWII, with the rank of Captain. Services will be held Monday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. in Denver. Surviving him are his wife, Beverly; two daughters; a son; three step-daughters; and two sisters, Delores Thygesen and Marilyn Edgar, both of Albuquerque. Burial will take place at Ft. Logan in Denver. | |
