Obituary for Quintana

Everett D. Quintana Sr., a resident of Albuquerque for 38 years, born on October 27, 1939 in Tucumcari, NM, passed away Friday morning, February 11, 2000, after a breathing disorder and a brief fight with cancer. Everett is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan Quintana of Albuquerque; sons, Everett Jr., Mark, Tommy McHugh and his wife, Terri; daughters, Elouise Zamora and her husband, Oliver, Annette Aragon, Donna Montoya, Jeanne Duran and her husband, Tony; grandsons, Johnny Aragon Jr., Phillip Montoya, Jacob Quintana, T.J. McHugh; granddaughters, Naomi Montoya, Amber Quintana, Andrea Duran, Adriana Quintana; and numerous nephews and nieces. Everett is also survived by many loving family members and friends whose lives were deeply touched by having known him. Everett enjoyed being with his family and friends, and will be missed by all. He served in the United States Marine Corp. and has requested to be buried in Tucumcari, NM. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Dunn's Memorial Chapel, 115 S. 3rd, Tucumcari, NM, and where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 14, 2000. Services and burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 15, 2000. There will be memorial services in Albuquerque at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church on Saturday, February 19, 2000 at 9:00 a.m. with Father Domingo Gumpal, MS, celebrating.
