Obituary for Dearmond

Lee DeArmond, 72, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, May 22, 2000. He is survived by his sons, Eugene Gordon DeArmond and wife, Susan, of Las Cruces, NM, Mark Dwayne DeArmond and wife, Carol of Richmond, VA, Clifton Nile DeArmond and wife, Stacy of Sauk Rapid, MN, and Phillip Ross DeArmond and wife, Tami of Los Lunas, NM; daughters, Darlene Burdine of Colbert, OK and Debra Kay Kimbrough of Salt Lake City, UT; 18 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brother, Billy DeArmond; sisters, Louise Huffines and Elaine Lawson and husband, James; special love of 13 years, Millie Cox; and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Mae DeArmond; daughter, Sharon Lee Bahling; and grandson, Mark Dwayne DeArmond, Jr. Lee was a member of the New Mexico Fiddlers Association and attended Faith Lutheran Church. Services will be held at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming NE, Saturday, 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Wilder officiating. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens Cemetery.
