Obituary for Rudolph

Edward W. Rudolph, 79, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, May 27, 2000. He is survived by his sons, Ronald Rudolph, and Robert Rudolph and wife, Marjorie, all of Albuquerque; brother, Walter Rudolph of Florida; two grandsons, Benjamin and Robert Rudolph, both of Albuquerque; and four great-grandchildren, Robert, Emma, Sarah, and Danielle. Mr. Rudolph was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Charlotte Rudolph who died in 1995. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific, and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He was a life member of V.F.W. Post 401. Mr. Rudolph was a life member and past president of the German-American Club, and was charter member and past president of the Lions Club. He was a third-degree mason. Services will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Chaplain Mike Brown officiating. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank Tony and Lynne Blake of Robin House for their loving care of our father and friend. Edward lived the last three years of his life and was able to pass away in their loving arms. Also, to the angels at Vista Care Hospice, Danielle Lucchino, RN, Marrisa Chavez, CNA, and Larry Wills, Chaplain, who made our father so comfortable during his struggle with Parkinsons Disease.
