Sarah A. Blanchard, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 14 years died on May 27, 2000. She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts and retired from John Hancock Insurance in 1983. Sarah was past president of Postal Supervisors Auxiliary, and a member of Four Hills Mobile Home Park Lions Club, American Legion Auxiliary, N.A.R.F.E. Chapter 1411, and A.A.R.P. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wilbur H. Blanchard; a daughter, Marlene Hansen, and husband, Dan of Reno, NV; and two grandchildren, Sara Hansen and Daniel Hansen. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 1, 2000 at Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE. Following the service, friends and family are invited to a Reception of Memory in the Sandia Sunroom.
