Obituary for Anaya

Miguel (Mike) Anaya, a beloved father, grandfather, and brother went to be with the Lord on Sunday May 28, 2000. He was an Army veteran of W.W. II. He is survived by his four sons Michael Anaya and wife Sheila of Albuquerque, Larry Anaya and wife Nedra of CA, Mark Anaya and Lawrence Anaya both of Albuquerque; five daughters Loretta Montoya and husband Sonny, Jean Armijo and husband Candido, Patsy Ortiz and husband Wilfred all of Albuquerque, Sylvia Messier and husband Larry of Bosque Farms, NM and Louisa Gallegos and husband Mike of Albuquerque; two sisters Osila Lucero and husband Juan and Trinnie Aragon and husband Abel; two brothers Hilario (Lalo) Duran and Higinio Duran; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family. Visitations will be today from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary located on Eighth and Iron; where an evening service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. tonight. Final viewing will be Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. also in the Chapel; where Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m., with Pastor Dan Sanchez officiating. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Casket bearers will be Adam Armijo, Adrian Armijo, Robert Aragon, Louie Aragon, Johnny Lucero, Tommy Lucero. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW
