Obituary for Lucero

Felipe M. Lucero, 80, a lifelong resident of Corrales died Sunday, May 28, 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Ruby Montano and husband, Gilbert of Corrales; son, Felipe A. Lucero and wife, Dolores of Corrales; loving companion, Rose Alderete of Corrales; grandsons, Norman Lucero, Phillip Montano, Paul Lucero, Leo Montano, Tim Lucero, and Matthew Lucero; granddaughters, Sandra Montano and April Garcia; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Louisa Johnson and husband, Ron and Irene Saiz; brother, Fidel Lucero and wife, Janet. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Lucero; and son, Andy Lucero. Felipe was a member of San Ysidro Parish Council and San Ysidro Parish Choir. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 69, Plumbers Union Local 412 and a Navy Veteran of WWII. Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at San Ysidro Parish, 5015 Corrales Road by Fr. Clarence Galli. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at San Ysidro Parish with Fr. Clarence Galli, Celebrant. Interment will follow at San Ysidro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Norman Lucero, Phillip Montano, Paul Lucero, Leo Montano, Tim Lucero, and Matthew Lucero. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Garcia and Michael Wesley.
