Obituary for Bell

Edna Pearl Bell, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1937, born December 22, 1911 in Hobart, OK, died Tuesday, April 25, 2000. She is survived by her daughters, Berneice Gardner and husband, Bruce of Thoreau, Ella V. Haralson and husband, Ernest, and Pearl Winters and husband, Steve, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jacqui Gardner of Thoreau, Keith Gardner and wife, Jeana of Clarksville, TN, James C. Haralson and wife, Kathryn of T or C, Barbara Day and husband, Brett, Chris Haralson and wife, Deanna, Doni Winters, Stephen Winters and wife, Angela, Bonnie Foreman and husband, Richard, and Mary Winters, all of Albuquerque; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cecil Bell in 1976. Mrs. Bell managed the snack bar at Albuquerque City Hall for several years. She was devoted to her Christian faith. She attended 1st Baptist Church of Alameda, where she taught Sunday school. Services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m., at 1st Baptist Church of Alameda, 8818 2nd St. NW, with Pastor Marvin Capehart and Rev. Bruce Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
