Charles J. Walz, 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1981, died Sunday, April 23, 2000. He is survived by his daughters, Cathy Hartman of Albuquerque and Nancy Fitzpatrick and husband, John of Sandia Park; granddaughters, Allison Fitzpatrick-Thayer and husband, Trevor of Silver City and Kate Fitzpatrick of Sandia Park; grandsons, Thomas Fitzpatrick of Sandia Park and Matthew Hartman of Albuquerque; great-granddaughter, Sydney Thayer and great-grandson, Glenn Thayer also of Silver City. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho, officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming, NE, Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
