Raymond J. Gorney, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, April 21, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Anne Gorney; son, Blaine Gorney and wife, Barbara of Salisbury, NC; daughter, Linda Schwers and husband, John; grandchildren, Jeff Schwers and wife, Susan and Gary Schwers and wife, Kimberley; and great-grandson, Aaron Xavier Schwers, all of Houston, TX. Cremation has taken place and Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2000, 11:00 a.m., at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 9100 Menaul NE, with Pastor Harold Nilsson and Associate Pastor David Cruson officiating.
