After 58 years of life, Luis Gonzaga Galvez passed from this world to another. On April 11 at approximately 1:00 am Luis' battle with cancer came to an end. Idela and Antonio Jose gave Luis life on July 10, 1941 in Costilla, NM. Luis spent most of his life in New Mexico and southern Colorado, however his struggle with illness brought him to spend his remaining days with his brother, Anthony Galvez and family in Schertz, TX. His legacy lives on through his only grandson, Luis Arturo Cerdas; two children, Mari Galvez de Cerdas and Ricardo Eric Galvez. Luis is survived by four brothers and sisters, a large extended family, and numerous friends.
