Mr. Venceslado Juan Gutierrez, 91, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on April 20, 2000. Mr. Gutierrez is survived by one daughter, Lydia Baca and husband, Fileberto; one son, Joseph Gutierrez and Consuelo Salazar; seven grandchildren, Fileberto Jr., Toby, Anthony, Gail, Valentina, Celest and Paul; 14 great-grandchildren; a special friend, Angelica Constancia Castilione; many nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Gutierrez was a member of the Catholic Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII. A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 12:00 noon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with visitation after 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning, 9:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with final viewing at the church after 8:30 a.m. Father Manuel Viera, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be Fileberto Baca Jr., Toby Baca, Anthony Baca, Bobby Zamora, Jerry Griego and Lee Romero. Honorary will be Antonio Sandoval, Ramon Trujillo and Jason Mangrell. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
