Obituary for Gibson

Marjorie Gibson, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1942, died Monday, April 17, 2000. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Sherman Gibson of Albuquerque; daughters, Bonnie Wood and husband, LeRoy of Clayton, NM and Sharon Jones and husband, John F."Jack" of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Robyn Wood, Wade Wood and wife, Lisa, all of Clayton, Wesley Wood and wife, Brenda of Amarillo, TX, Christopher Chaney of Albuquerque, and Lauren Jones of Washington, DC; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Neiderman of Albuquerque and Benny Snow of Moriarty; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gibson was dedicated and loved by her family and church. Services will be held Thursday, April 20, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Christopher Chaney, Wade Wood, Wesley Wood, LeRoy Wood, Jack Jones, and David Kennedy. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, April 19, 2000, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Quality Continuum Hospice, 2345 Southern Blvd. SE 87106.
