Katherine E. Catone, 28, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, was called home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 16, 2000. Kat was born on May 23, 1971 in Santa Ana, CA; she was a graduate of Parkland High School and TVI here in Albuquerque; and worked as a registered nurse at Presbyterian Hospital and University of New Mexico Medical Center; Kat was a resident of of Albuquerque for nine years; and made many good and loyal friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Scott Catone; infant daughter, Bailey Mackenzie Catone; her mother, Alicia S. Turner; father, Joseph M. Turner; one brother, Carlos J. Alvarez; a large extended family in Texas, California and Arizona; and a host of friends. She will be greatly missed. On behalf of Kat's husband and extended family they wish to thank all her friends who have offered their support and assistance. A Memorial service will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located on 8th and Iron. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
