Obituary for Sharp

Carmen D. Sharp, 86, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, September 20, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Harrietta M. Sharp of Albuquerque; two sons, Larry D. Sharp and wife, Joyce of Lincoln, NE, and Thomas D. Sharp and wife, Sarah of Flower Mound, TX; granddaughters, Amy Frey and husband, Darrin, Kathy Sharp, Erin Wayt and husband, Bryan, and Meredith Sharp; great-grandchildren, Michaela, Jacob and Nathan brother; Dale Sharp; sister, Helen Sharp; and numerous nieces, nephews & family members. Mr. Sharp was a former member of Hoffmantown, since 1956, where he served as a Deacon. He usher, greeter and held other offices. Mr. Sharp was a member of the Eastern Hills Baptist Church and also a member of the Motorized Boat Club. He was kind and generous friend and a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2000, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Larry Miller, Officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit on Friday, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel.
