Maria Emelina Anaya, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, September 22, 2000. Ms.Anaya was born in Vaughn, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque since 1957; she was a member of Victory Love Fellowship Church. She was a very loving and caring mother, we will all miss her. Ms. Anaya is survived by her nine loving children, Loretta Montoya and husband, Lewis (Sonny) of Albuquerque, Jean Aramijo and husband, Candido of Los Lunas, Patsy Ortiz and husband, Wilfred of Albuquerque, Sylvia Messier and husband, Larry of Bosque Farms, Louisa Gallegos and husband, Mike of Albuquerque, Mike Anaya and wife, Shiela of Albuquerque, Larry Anaya and wife, Nedra of California, Mark Anaya and Lawrence Anaya, both of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Juanita Anaya of Santa Fe, Sally Marquez of Albuquerque, Eva Barreras and husband, Trinidad of Albuquerque; numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, and those who knew and loved her. Visitations will be Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, where evening services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Final viewing will be Monday morning, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., in the chapel, where Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Trinidad Barreras, Raymond Barreras, Adam Armijo, Adrian Armijo, Johnny Lucero and Larry Anaya III. Funeral Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
