Obituary for Segura

Joseph A. Segura, 86, born in Cerro, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque for 51 years passed away September 6, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Emmie G. Segura; daughter, Henrietta Roudabush of San Jose, CA; and sons, Evan Segura and Marty Segura, both of Albuquerque. Mr. Segura is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Segura served 30 years in the Air Force as a Master Sergeant and was a World War II, Bataan Death march survivor. Mr. Segura was later awarded the Purple Heart. Rosary was recited September 7, 2000 at French Mortuary, Lomas Chapel and Mass was celebrated September 8, 2000 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Interment took place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
