Obituary for Morgan

Richard D. Morgan, 59, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Wednesday, September 13, 2000. He is survived by his brother, Edward A. Morgan of Los Lunas; sister, Mary G. Teeter of Moriarty; fiance, Wende Mathews of Las Cruces; and stepdaughter, Sharon Owens and husband, Arlie of San Antonio, TX. He is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Morgan. Mr. Morgan served in the US Army. He was a member of Mesilla Park Community Church, of the Emmaus Community and served as a teacher for the Pioneer Club. Mr. Morgan worked with the New Mexico Commission for the Blind. He also worked for New Mexico State University as an electronics technician. Cremation has taken place and graveside memorial services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, with Rev. Lyle Reece officiating.
