Obituary for Gabaldon

Mr. Victor S. Gabaldon, 76, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 8, 2000. Mr. Gabaldon is survived by one son, Victor Harold Gabaldon and wife, Carmela; three sisters, Nina Olguin and husband, Adelino, Rosalia Turrietta and husband, Luciano of Las Vegas, NV and Dubbie Vigil and husband, Antonio; two brothers, Floren Gabaldon and wife, Pauline, Fidel Gabaldon and wife, Lucy; eight grandchildren, Diana, Roger, Chris, Juan, Julian, Joaquin, Nathan and Vicent; six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Gabaldon was a member of the Catholic Church and a veteran of U.S. Navy serving during WWII. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr., SW from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m. by Mr. Jimmy Rael. Final Visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the St. Charles Church, 1818 Coal SE, with the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Bob Chabot. Committal Service will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Juan Gabaldon, Julian Gabaldon, Roger Gabaldon, Chris Gabaldon, Danny Padilla and Paul Anthony Chavez. Gabaldon Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
