Obituary for Betz

Madonna Daniel Betz of Corrales, NM, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, died unexpectedly Thursday, February 10, 2000. She was a former resident of New York City where she worked as a trader for Goldman Sachs before retiring to Albuquerque seven years ago. She was born July 7, 1938 in McLeansoboro, Illinois, beloved daughter of John M. (deceased) and Deana Daniel. She is survived by her loving husband, King Betz of Corrales; daughter, Lauren Kivler and husband, Daniel of Tijeras, NM; two grandsons, Jackson and Danny; three step children, Robert, Stephen and Sarah Betz of Centralia, Illinois; sister, Jacklyn Adams; and brother, John Daniel of Albuquerque; and her many friends. Since her retirement to New Mexico, she has pursued her career as an accomplished artist and was a member of the Rio Grande Art Association, in addition to other art groups. Visitation will take place at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, Monday, February 14, 2000 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service immediately following Visitation. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlise NE, in charge of arrangements.
