Nancy T. Sommer, 82, a resident of Belen, NM and formally of New York, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 6, 2000. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many people. Nancy loved living life to the fullest and was always very active. She will be missed dearly. Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hans T.; her parents, Eliseo and Theresa Criscitiella; one brother, Pellegrino; two sisters, Mary Palladino and Livia Scortochini. She is survived by her two children, Nancy Roselli and husband, Vince and Robert Sommer; three grandchildren, Vincent Roselli of Albuquerque, NM, Sandra Martinez and husband, Jerry, Laura Roselli of Los Lunas; five great-grandchildren, Vinnessa, Victoria and Veronica Martinez, and John and Christopher Silva; three brothers, Pasquale, Frank, and Anthony Criscitiello; her loving companion and brother-in-law, Rosario Alessi. Nancy is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. One of Nancy's favorite sayings was"Death must be the best trip of all, that's why it's saved for last". A Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home. A Visitation will take place in Kingston, NY. Interment will follow in the Mt. Marion Cemetery, also in Kingston, NY. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen, NM.
