Vicenta B. (Bessie) Moya, 85, a resident of Belen, NM was called home to be with the Lord and her loved ones who preceded her in death on Saturday, February 5, 2000. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Bessie was very active with the Belen Senior Citizens Project Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugeno in 1991. Bessie is survived by her two children, Martha Sanchez and husband, Ernest E. of Rio Communities and Jerry A. and wife, Sonya of Las Maravillas; one beloved grandson, Jesse A. Moya who was the light of her heart; three sisters, Vitalia Olguin of Jarales, NM, Candy Kronig of Pueblitos, NM and Agnis Carrillo and husband, Carlos of Los Padillas, NM. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. A Viewing will be held on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the Legion of Mary officiating the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Romero Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ramon Torres, Alex Griego, Francisco Baca, Patrick Ortega, Eliseo Chavez and John Allen Carrillo. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen, NM.
