Wilton E. (Pat) Spradley, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, died March 20, 2000. Pat was born in Houston, Texas on September 1, 1919. When WWII started, he joined the U.S. Air Force. While stationed in Albuquerque, he and his wife, Marjorie, fell in love with the weather and mountains. He served his country, and was a successful businessman. They started Acoma Pet and Training Center in 1953. From that time on, he trained thousands of New Mexico's dogs. Most importantly, he was a devoted husband to Marjorie, his wife of 52 years, and a loving and fair father to Bob, Trish and Susan. He was a strong and active grandfather to Weslea, Jennelle, Autumn and Marshall, and a wonderful friend to many. Pat attended Hoffmantown Church and was a member of the A.F.&A.M. Temple Lodge #6 and the Ballut Abayd Shrine Temple, both in Albuquerque. When we remember him we will picture him walking with his dogs that he loved.
