Hazel Helene Nordstrum, born in Humboldt, Iowa on October 5, 1913, died March 22, 2000. Hazel was preceded in death by Robert, her husband of 66 years, who passed away in May, 1999. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Wood of Lubbock, TX, Mildred Kostedt and husband, Allan of Los Lunas; and her son, Jerry and wife, Norma of Farmington; her sister, Mildred Altman of Humboldt, IA; and step-sister, Delores Steyer of Albuquerque. She had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her hobbies included fishing and bowling. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with family friend, Gary White officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Juvenile Diabetes Association or Red Cross. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, are in charge of arrangements.
