Mr. Manuel"Mel" Gallegos died Monday in Albuquerque at the age of 58. Mr. Gallegos is survived by his brothers, Ignacio Joe Gallegos, Don Gallegos and wife, Dorothy, Johnny Gallegos and Ernesto Gallegos and wife, Rose; sisters, Angie Vallejos, Mary Gallegos, Rose Gallegos and Nancy Martinez; and many nephews and nieces. Funeral services for Mr. Gallegos will be held on Thursday at the St. Edwin Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Gallegos, Joey Gallegos, Anthony Vallejos, Ricky Vallejos, Steve Vallejos and Jesus Gallegos. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
