Obituary for Sengel

Dr. Edward William Ed Sengel, III, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Danielle Sengel of 33 years; son, Edward William Sengel IV and wife, Kazue Akao and one grandchild on the way, all of Tokyo, Japan; and daughter, Samantha Sengel and soon to be husband, Jason Bousliman of Albuquerque, NM. Preceded in death by his parents, Willie Marie and Bob Lord. Ed served in the US Army for 23 years and retired a Lt. Colonel. He was Director of Information Systems with the UNM Foundation for the past 11 years. Ed received degrees from University of Washington, Boston University and USC. A Memorial Gathering for family and close friends will take place on Wednesday, December 27th at 5:30 p.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE. A Memorial Celebration will be held on January 4, 2001 at noon at UNM Alumni Chapel with Duffy Swan and Ray Ziler, officiating. Because of his illness, Ed and his family would like to remind everyone of the value of organ donation.
