Wilbur C. Roussel, a longtime resident of New Mexico passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2000. Wilbur was born in New Haven, IN and moved to Albuquerque in 1942. His parents were Louis Roussel and Mary Ida (Gladieux) Roussel. He was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Wilbur is survived by his son, Dr. Mike E. Roussel and wife, Karen of Albuquerque, and daughter, Yvonne M. Roussel of Escondido, CA; two grandchildren, Andrea and Lauren Roussel of Albuquerque; a brother, Aldon; and a sister, Juanita Jacquay, both of Florida. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2001 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho."To my family, Michael and Karen, Yvonne, Andrea and Lauren, and friends, I bid my good-bye and thank you for all the joy and happiness you brought into my life.
