Katherine Dowiatt McKinnon, 89, a long time resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2000 after a long illness. She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Kirby and husband, Ben; a son, Alex Dowiatt and wife, Suzanne; a sister, Shirley Moore of California; a sister-in-law, Catherine Cain; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was a charter member of Monte Vista Christian Church, life member of Ada Chapter O.E.S. and long time member of White Shrine. Cremation and burial have already taken place. The family wishes to thank care givers, Fanceta Wilson and her staff, especially Miss Judy, during her long struggle with Alzheimer's.
