Betty S. Fuqua, 54, a resident of Bosque Farms for six years, loving wife, mother and friend, died Wednesday, December 27, 2000. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Dan F. Fuqua of Bosque Farms; daughter, Lora A. Fuqua of Ft. Collins, CO; and son, Ross Fuqua of Nacogdoches, TX. Betty was born June 2, 1946, the daughter of Warren and Eloise Sasnett. She loved children, horses, her home and her family. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ross Fuqua, Keith Fuqua, Butch Fuqua and Fred French. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association of NM, 216 Truman NE, 87108.
