Obituary for Gonzales

FroiIan Gonzales, 72, a resident of Belen, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2000. Frolian was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Froilan loved to be on the road and was a charter driver for Sanchez S.W. Coaches. When he wasn't driving the bus, he would still volunteer to be on the road as coordinator on trips to Laughlin, NV. Froilan was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Gonzales in 1995; his parents, Juan in 1993 and Horacia Gonzales; one son, Leo Gonzales; and one daughter, Edwina Montoya, both in 1986. He is survived by his loving children, Robert and his wife, Avalon of Los Lunas, Becky and her husband, Saul Barela of Belen, Lorraine and her husband, Gilbert Montoya of Belen, Alfred and his wife, Roberta of Bernalillo, and Cindy and her husband, Alex Sanchez, of Belen; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Froilan is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. A Viewing will be on Friday, December 29, 2000, 5:30 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home with a Service at 6:00 p.m. Another Viewing will be on Saturday, December 30, 2000, 1:30 p.m. at the Belen Seventh Day Adventist Church, 115 E. Ross Ave. with a Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery in Peralta. Pallbearers will be Robert, Alfred, Michael, and Anthony Gonzales, Alex Sanchez and Saul Barela.
