Obituary for Maes

Florence P. Maes, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1987, died Saturday, May 13, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Sofia M. Sanchez and husband, Orlando of Albuquerque, grandchildren, Lorraine Mendiola of Santa Fe, Bobbi Ansloan and husband, John of Tampa, FL, and Orlando A. Sanchez, Jr. and wife, Deanna of Albuquerque; and four great-grandsons, Matthew John Mendiola and Gabriel Benito Mendiola, both of Santa Fe, Ryan Joseph Ansloan and Nicholas Sean Ansloan, both of Tampa, FL. Mrs. Maes is also survived by several cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Bennie D. Maes on April 2, 1997. Mrs. Maes was a homemaker and former, longtime resident of Clayton, NM. Rosary will be recited Friday, 19, 2000, 7:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Father Antonio Mondragon reciting. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 20, 2000, 11:00 a.m., at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Father Richard Olona, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Garcia, Bill Parras, Joe Simoes, Donald Sears, Jr., Edwin Reyes, and Eugene J. Sanchez. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Friday, May 19, 2000 one hour prior to Rosary.
