Obituary for Madrid

Vidalia Gloria Madrid, 57, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother and sister, was called home to be with the Lord, Monday, May 15, 2000. Vidalia was born on June 30, 1942 in Albuquerque to the late Frank and Lorenza Jaramillo; she was a member of the Calvary Chapel. Vidalia was preceded in death by two brothers, Valentino Jaramillo and Candelario Abeyta. She is survived by her loving daughters, Jan Madrid of Albuquerque, Reyna Montreal of Moriarty, Joy Sanchez of Los Lunas; and six precious grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Annie Rodriguez, Linda Apodaca, Jessie Maria Albert, all of California; four brothers, Nevarez Jaramillo, Silverio Jaramillo, Mauricio Jaramillo, all of California, and Raymond Jaramillo of Albuquerque. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be today, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located on 8th and Iron, where an evening service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. also in the chapel, with Pastor Carl Toti officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Raymond Jaramillo, Bud Lucero, Steve Lucero, Adrian Albert, Stanley Gutierrez and Bruce Sanchez. Services are under the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover SW.
