Christine Lucero, age 59, of Grants, passed away Wednesday, May 17, at her home. Christine was born November 9, 1940 in Albuquerque to Abran T. and Lucinda G. Baca. Christine is survived by her husband, Lionel Lucero of Grants; her son, Michael Lucero and his wife, Alvinita of Grants; her daughter, Esperanza"Espie" Lucero of Oakland, CA; her brother, Stanley Baca of Albuquerque; her sister, Isidorita and her husband, Fernando Lucero of Albuquerque; and her five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Rosary will be Friday, 7:00 p.m., at Grants Mortuary Chapel. An additional Memorial Rosary will be held in the Mission San Jose of Los Duranes in Albuquerque on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. It is located at 2110 Los Luceros Road NW. Christine loved to dance, she was excellent in all dances, but especially loved tap and flamenco. Christine also loved to crochet. She will be greatly missed. Grants Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
