Georgia M. Jones, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, died Friday, May 12, 2000. Viewing and visitation will take place Tuesday, May 16, 2000, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Services will be held Wednesday, May 17, 10:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5709 Haines Ave. N.E. with Bishop Marlin McNeil officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Robert Shanley, John Mitchell, Allan Colledge, Robert W. Jones, Donald Skabelund, and Brian D. Decker. Honorary pallbearers will be John Halliday, George Ayala, President Cayetano Aguilar, Orville W. Decker, and Steven M. Decker. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 5810 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, is in charge of arrangements.
