Revenna Soblick,, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968, passed away on May 12, 2000, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Benjamin Soblick of Albuquerque; son, Martin Soblick and wife, Diane Soblick of Del Mar, California, son, Steven Soblick and wife, Audrey of Brooklyn, New York, son, Leonard Soblick and wife, Sheila Soblick of Albuquerque; five grandchildren; sisters, Anne Blacker of New Jersey, and Fay Berkley of Del Ray Beach, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. Revenna will be missed by her friends in the Chavurah Hamidbar, Chabad of New Mexico, ORT, The Joyful Sounds, Hadassah, the children and teachers at the S.Y. Jackson Elementary School, where she worked for many years, and many others who knew and loved her. Services will be held on Monday, May 15, 10:00 a.m. at the Fairview Memorial Park, Rabbi Chaim Schmukler officiating. Shiva services will be held at 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Chabad of New Mexico, 4000 San Pedro Dr. NE, 87110, or charity of choice.
