Obituary for Trujillo

Fermin Trujillo Jr., 59, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2000. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Fermin was born in Bosque, NM. Then he moved to Albuquerque at the age of 9, following the death of his mother in 1949. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1966, which included duties in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Fermin was preceded in death by his parents, Fermin Sr. and Isabelita Trujillo; his half-sister, Theresa Maldonado. He is survived by his loving brothers and sisters, Bernice Tellez and her husband, Robert, Marcella Melendez and her husband, Eddie, Gloria Melendez and her husband, Oscar, David Florinio and Premetivo Trujillo; her half-brother, Edwin Trujillo and half-sister, Emily Gomez. He is also survived by Michella Tetta who, although not related, was like a mother to him for a large part of his life. Fermin is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Friday, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 12:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen.
