Pauline Gonzales, 88, a lifelong resident of the Albuquerque area, passed away peacefully at Lovelace Hospital on Thursday, May 11, 2000. She is survived by her only daughter, Jeanne Breck and husband, Bert of Belen; two grandchildren, Stewart Breck of Belen and Stephanie McCorkle and husband, Wayne of Colorado Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Gonzales, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage. Her heritage was the C De Baca's of Bernalillo. In her early life, she spent time serving at the Dog House drive-in and diner. After this, her priority was being a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Rosary will be recited Friday, May 12, 2000, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 13, 2000, 11:30 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7500 Paseo del Norte NE, with Father Domingo Gumpal, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wally"ML" McCorkle, Brian Robertson, Bruce Peterson, Arthur Gradi, Rudy Gonzales, Mike"Babe" Sanchez.
