Pablita Lucero, 80, born April 2, 1920 in La Jara, NM, passed away at home with her family, May 5, 2000. She was preceded in death by husband, Juan B. Lucero; brother, Augustine Valdez; son, Marshall Lucero and wife, Rupe; grandson, Marshall Lucero Jr. She is survived by son, Andy Lucero and wife, Ginger; daughters, Leora Lucero, Lillie Trujillo and husband, Ray; sisters, Leonor Duran and husband, Frank, Livia Archuleta and husband, Dickie; brothers, Mike Valdez, Floriano Valdez and wife, Verna, Elecio Valdez and wife, Julia, Herman Valdez; 11 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Manuel Lucero and wife, Angie; sister-in-law, Vangie Casaus and husband, Ben; numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Santo Nino de Atocha Catholic Church in La Jara, NM with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2000, Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, with Burial following at Santo Nino de Atocha Cemetery.
