Obituary for Robinson

Jimmie Lee Robinson, 71, an Albuquerque resident since 1948, died in an auto accident near Wilcox, Arizona on Thursday, July 27, 2000. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, James E. Robinson of Albuquerque; son, James Robinson and wife, Charlene of Tucson, AZ; daughters, Linda Slack and husband, Steve of Albuquerque and Jacqueline Wilson and husband, Delloyd of Symrna, GA; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Lottie Stewart of Pontiac, MI and Ella Scott of Muncie, IN. Mrs. Robinson was a born again Christian and a member of First Baptist Church where she taught Bible School for a number of years. She had also taught Sunday school for over 35 years. She had a strong, abiding faith in her Lord Jesus Christ. Mrs. Robinson was retired from Sandia National Labs. She was currently an instructor with AARPs 55 Alive driving class and a part-time employee at Nations Bank. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2000 at First Baptist Church, 101 Broadway, NE. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2000 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd, NE.
