Candido"Charlie" Trujillo, a life long resident of Ponderosa NM passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aurora and a son, George Trujillo. He is survived by seven sons: Robert Trujillo and wife, Laura, Ramon Trujillo and wife, Etta, Henry Trujillo and wife, Cordy, Candido Trujillo and wife, Joy, Willie Trujillo and wife, Kathy, all of Ponderosa, Larry Trujillo and wife, Anna of Albuquerque, and Gene Trujillo and wife, Agnes of Oklahoma, five daughters; Elvia Montoya and husband, Charlie of Jemez Springs, Tina Trujillo and Sandra Trujillo of Ponderosa, Angie Trujillo of San Ysidro, and Bernice Sedillo and husband, Anthony of Las Vegas, Nevada. Also surviving are 36 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; a brother, Cipriano Trujillo of Ponderosa; and two sisters, Maria Sedillo and Epifania Gallegos, both of Albuquerque. Charlie will be remembered as a rancher and an outdoorsman, he will be greatly missed by all. A Rosary will be recited Saturday evening April 1st, at 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary, and on Sunday April 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at Santo Toribio Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday Morning at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment to follow at the Ponderosa Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Trujillo, Richard Trujillo, Randy Trujillo, Gilbert Montoya, Frank Trujillo, and Angelo Trujillo. Honorary Pallbearers are all of the grandchildren. Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street Gary F. Santillanes C.F.S.P.
