Obituary for Seeman

Marguriette"Marge" I Seeman, 88, a resident of Albuquerque for 34 years, died Wednesday, March 29, 2000. She is survived by her daughters, Marion Daugherty of Roswell, NM, Barbara Sherouse, Rosalie Vonderhaar and husband, Donald, all of Albuquerque; son, Harry E. Seeman and wife, Elena Edgewood, NM; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; brother, Eugene Owen and wife, Estelle of Henderson, NV; sister-in-law, Anna Franks of Keokuk, IA; cousin, Florence Parrish of Ft. Madison, IA; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harry B. Seeman, December 2, 1985, one daughter, Nila May in 1940, one grandson, Mark Sherouse; and one brother, Glen Owen. Mrs. Seeman was a great cook and a fabulous piemaker. She loved to play bingo. Mrs. Seeman was active with the Lioness Club for the Four Hills Trailor Court, becoming president, vice president and director at various times. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir and served as an ecumenical minister. Rosary will be recited Thursday, March 30, 2000, 5:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Deacon Al McLane reciting. Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 31, 2000, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, with Father Domingo Gumpal, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Brothers of the Good Shepherd Center, 218 Iron St. SW 87103.
